THE GOAL OF SABACHE IS TO HELP THE SAMBURU PEOPLE CONSERVE THEIR HABITAT, RICH NATURAL BIODIVERSITY, RARE WILDLIFE AND CULTURAL HERITAGE.

The Sabache wildlife corridor, with Mt. Kenya to its east and the vast Matthews Range to its west, borders three national reserves - Samburu, Buffalo Springs and Shaba Hills- and is home and refuge to vast populations of wildlife and bird species, many rare and endemic, including the critically endangered Grevy zebra, black rhino, and elusive wild dog. In fact, Sabache is home to one of the largest and most stable wild dog populations in Kenya.
